Overview
Leyla earned two BAs in English Language & Literature and Classical Archaeology from Istanbul University. She is joining the PhD program in History of Art & Visual Studies to study Greek and Roman funerary art at Sardis, as well as cultural interactions, the mobility of craftsmen, and artistic exchanges between West and East. Leyla has conducted fieldwork on archaeological projects at Sardis and Haydarpaşa, and has held an internship at the Istanbul Archaeological Museums.
