CIAMS is committed to archaeological practice in and for the wider world. Our faculty and students are committed to involving communities in our research and to expanding the stories that archaeology tells, as well as who tells them. Our goal is to use archaeological research to promote a broader, more inclusive understanding of the human past and to use archaeological techniques to help shape a more just future.
