Overview
Marissa comes to Cornell from Franklin and Marshall College, where she majored in Anthropology and Moral Philosophy. Her research interests center on the relations between the Incans and the societies they conquered, with a particular focus on the built environment, artifact analysis, and mortuary practice. Marissa participated in the Belize Archaeological Project through the University of Texas, Austin, held an internship at the American Museum of Natural History in the North American Archaeology lab, and worked as a field technician for a CRM firm in Arizona.
